Cynosure RevLite SI Q Switched Laser is the world’s leading laser for tattoo removal! It targets tattoos with a specific wavelength of light energy. In fact, separate wavelengths are needed for each color of ink. Upon application of the laser beam, the ink is shattered and eventually eliminated through the body’s natural processes (immune system). The RevLite SI has separate hand pieces for each color of ink to be removed, with the exception of white, which has no pigment. Multi-colored tattoos can be totally removed over time by utilizing different hand pieces to shatter and remove the ink from the dermal layer of skin, without destroying the surface skin or scarring.
