Canfield Visia Generation 7 Skin Facial Imaging System is the next generation of complexion analyzing technology from Canfield Scientific. Canfield’s precision subject imaging system, clinical quality lighting and MatchPose live image overlay continue to change the way skin care professionals work with their patients. The new VISIA Gen7 system captures perfectly registered images of left, right and frontal facial views, and automatically analyzes the images for surface and subsurface skin conditions. The high-quality images captured by the VISIA Gen7 help dermatologists and aestheticians document treatment progress and communicate results and recommendations with patients.

Lighting Modes

IntelliFlash, cross-polarized and UV lighting are used to record and measure surface and subsurface skin conditions. UV photography provides the most complete data set available for sun damage assessment and analysis, including UV fluorescence imaging to reveal porphyrins.

RBX Technology

Canfield’s RBX® Technology separates the unique color signatures of Red and Brown skin components for unequaled visualization of conditions that result in color concentration, such as spider veins, hyperpigmentation, inflammation and other conditions.

Process

Throughout the phases of development, design and engineering worked together to successfully implement multiple light sources and meet precise camera angle requirements. During this process, the team worked diligently to maintain a balance between achieving the most comfortable head support for the patient whilst abiding to these rigid requirements.
